Le Havre region is mobilizing for the offshore wind sector! |
A unique mobilization for the professionals of the offshore wind sector

In order to meet the requirements of wind turbines professionals and to offer them the best setting-up and development conditions, the industrial and institutional actors of Le Havre region join forces around strategic sector-based topics and multidisciplinary working groups: Industry and logistics, Maintenance, Training and HR Planning, Services, Components and R&D.
Wind Innovation in Normandy
WIN 1.0, acronym for “Wind Innovation in Normandy”, is a project backed by the “Filière Energies Haute-Normandie” association, composed of offshore and field test sites allowing the industrial actors to develop and certify new prototypes of wind turbines in situations resembling operating conditions. This project will be complemented by offshore and field meteorological masts, making it possible to better characterize the environment and wind potentials. Launching in 2011.
